Ideas Bank 09 aims to challenge public perceptions of Slough-
to show Slough as a creative and innovative site. Slough Museum endeavours to be a place where this can happen

Slough Museum presents an array of talented visual artists from in and around the Slough area. Ideas Bank 2009 aims to illustrate and promote the diverse and eclectic talent on Sloughs doorstep and will feature a multitude of mediums and styles and will feature digital prints and video work as well as beautifully crafted paintings.

Artists include: Shalini Bhart, is an accomplished painter who has shown in India, Indonesia and the United States. Carol Coates, draws inspiration from her childhood memories. David Richards a filmmaker and installation artist whose interest lies in Natural History and how this subject is portrayed within museums.

  Gemma included a number of works including paintings, digital photography and drawings. The drawings of Slough were created especially for this exhibition.

On the 24th March Gemma participated in the series of artists talks about her work and the exhibition.
